Reporting is one part of brand protection:

1. Verify your real channel so members can tell the difference.
2. Tell your community, repeatedly, that you never DM first and never ask for funds directly.
3. Monitor for impersonation — new channels using your name appear constantly.
4. Report promptly, with accurate categories and evidence.
5. Warn your members when a specific fake is active. Speed limits the damage more than any takedown.

Step 5 matters most. Takedowns take time; a pinned warning is immediate.

Realistic Expectations

Reporting does not guarantee removal, and no tool can promise otherwise. Some fakes come down in hours; others persist. Treat it as one lever alongside verification and communication, not a complete solution.
